You asked a question? I must have missed it among the accusations. You seem to be asserting that atheism is the sole cause of what ever it is that you are accusing them of.

The only difference between you and I (as far as religion is concerned) is that I believe in one less god than you do. When you can explain why you do not believe in Allah, Vishnu, Buddha, Zeus, Apollo, and all the rest, then you will understand why I do not believe in yours.

Since I am perfectly content with out faith in y life, why should I change. What possible benefit could come from it?

When I see 'atheist' based charities providing the same services as faith based, then I might cut some slack. :angry:
When you yahoos can replace Glide Memorial Church (without another gooberment entity) some would reconsider. To say the all faith based food banks, soup lines, homeless support, etc.. is not worthy is total bull####.
There have been millions of people and faith based organizations that fill the gap when gooberment throws people to the wind 'around the world'.
What have atheists done besides whine?

Got ya. Missed that one. Probably will not happen. Atheist do not gather together so there is no Centralized organization. I make donations to red cross, united way and a few local organizations as I see fit.

I do not think religion is needed to provide charity.

One thing I've always pondered,

Do Atheists say, "God Bless You" when someone sneezes?
Do Atheists say, "Oh My God Look at her dress it's like a sausage skin"
Do Atheists say, "Jesus Christ Little Billy take a shower you stink to high heaven"

This has always been something I've wondered about. Perhaps an answer to these and other pressing questions will be brought forth from the "God Less Communists" who post here 😀 😀 😀 😀

I will sometimes say theses things as they are common phrases. I will also say god damit on a regular basis.

To add tot the previous post. Religion still is insisting that the earth is only 6,000 years old and that dinosaurs walked with man even though all the scientific evidence says that is utter nonsense.

Religion explains things as magic via the gods. Science explains the ideas with proveable theories or theories based on scientific analysis.

My father-in-law would never use the Lord's name in vain. He preferred 'Plague take it'.

Did that make him an atheist?
