Atsb Agreement Final Through June 30

The pieces continue to fall in place. As I have said before, this airline will survive, will be profitable again, and will be a force to be reckoned with in the industry. Everyone has had grave sacrifices in our company, it appears, if all continues to go well, that the sacrifices, will pay off...

Lets go US!!! 😀

Time to pull together and kick everybody elses butt!

This is great news. Everything is coming together now. For the first time in a long time I really feel we can make it.
Let the naysayers continue to think doom and gloom. I for one can see U being the model for the other legacy carriers to learn from.
Lets go USAirways !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The model for other legacy carriers based on what? Sadistic labor relations? Unprecedented concessionary agreements?

Look, I want you guys to survive too, but all of the workers deserve a living wage/stable enviroment as well.

Ashby, in a memo to other marketing employees Wednesday, wrote "There is much to be optimistic about. We have turned the corner with our labor groups, and we are now engaged together in the competitive fight that the company faces. We are leaner, tougher, and ready to win."

Either help bail the boat or jump overboard.

It's time those 95% of us that want this thing to work push the 5% lackys out.

Reality check time. This was a government hand out. Hardly something to celebrate or suggest as being a successful business model. Nobody wants to see US employees lose their jobs but the big picture is what will be the drag on the entire industry from this?

And how will it "pay off"? Though lower living standards and less pay?

I believe you may have missed some recent anouncements......many with the airline have been given no choice but kicked out the door. Some walked away with a big bag of cash and others, a big see yaaaa....................

Yes I am with AA, and perhaps you are right. But I would guess that the other carriers are not suprised by this developement and are prepared to put the final nails in the coffin for US. Wn entering PIT is just the beginning. When CLT is invaded where is US going to run to? The new FLL service has already been scaled back even before its start date. When you guys agree to working for free then I'll be worried about more concessions at AA.
