I believe the Delta crew was able to get out of BOM.
Flight 185/27. The inbound crew was secured at a different
Hotel. Any word on the NW crews? I pray all are well.

Haven't heard any details - just that NWA Security is in contact with our crews.

Thanks for your kind thoughts ....

I hope you are right but I doubt it. For two hours or so there are three crews on the ground in bom. Just around midnight bom time. The NWA crews stay at the (deleted) .

MOD NOTE: Please do not mention specific hotels for crew layovers.

For this evening I am sure Delta has just 2 crews on the ground. One inbound and one outbound. On a public forum, I wont mention what hotel they usually layover, but the local station manager changed it for the inbound crew. Outbound crew was showing that they departed at 00:00 from the original hotel. On a different note, this evenings ATL-BOM is showing a departure time of 1800. They will work to BOM and immeadiatly DH back home...

PLEASE DO NOT post the name of any hotel crews stay it. It is a major security breach.

Would be true if you are talking about NWA crews. It is common knowledge that these are the two best hotels in bom and that many airline crews stay there.

Looks like all NW & DL crews are safe (bold print is my own doing).

From the AO Customer service update at 6PM Central:

"Operational Update for 26Nov - 6pm CST - Update on BOM:

As reported by the media, a number of incidents occurred in Mumbai on Wednesday evening, one of which involved our crew layover hotel. Delta and Northwest have contacted all crew members who are in Mumbai and all are unharmed at this time.

Delta and Northwest are doing all we can to safely evacuate our crew members from Mumbai as quickly as possible. Delta and Northwest Security teams and our operations control centers are currently evaluating the plan for future flying to Mumbai. "

That's great to hear that they are safe so far!

Glad to hear all are well. What a story they will have.
Their pick up must have been around the time of the attacks.
I am very thankfull they're on the way home. What a Thanksgiving
for them huh? eta is 0730/27NOV
The DL crew that arrived in BOM this evening are in a different hotel
and I will pray for them, and the NW crews, safe return.
