AWA Aircraft painting

With AWA painting their entire fleet and with many theme aircraft, does anyone know if they will paint some in the Star Alliance colors?

Don't know, but it would be nice to see an "original" USAIR aircraft. Seems that everyone has forgotten that silver bird with burgundy and red writing.

Hard to have a shiny 319 when they are made of plastic....

It will be hard with the new 787 as well since its plastic. What is Boeing thinking?

You are right, but they could still do it on a white background. It would be nice to see the original though...the one that started it all.

Why would we want another STAR Alliance aircraft.
The way we keep screwing up our International Pax
we will be kicked out of the Star pretty soon.

I wish they would do one of the 75's in the old USAir livery, that would be way cool. And, I highly doubt we are getting kicked out of star alliance any time soon.

How about putting one of the 737's in the old USAir livery?

I believe another poster said there was only one former HP plane left to paint.

All the Star Alliance Planes will be East planes, they all ready have some A319s and 757s, I believe at least one A330 will be in Star's Livery.

As of now, there has not been a A330 in Star Livery yet.

Their are "Rules" regarding number of planes and types as part of the Star agreement. No Idea what they are however. I also think an A330 was already painted in Star Livery.

No US 330 in SA yet. E-170, A319, B-757 are the only US planes in SA Colors. LH brings in their SA A340 regularly in PHL.

Um not really,2 coats of silver,and 2 coats of clear would look real nice.A little red mother of pearl thrown in the mix for the evening glow effect....

A few things here. I thought that you had to have a certain number of a/c painted in the *alliance colors? Why couldn't we have an A319 painted in the old Usair colors? Doesn't Northwest have a new silverish color now? I have never understood why we haven't had an A330 r an 767 in *alliance colors considering they fly international and the alliance stretches around the globe. Small minded maybe? 😉
