Sssshhhhhh, you're giving away the secret plan. And it's "canyon blue," "desert gold," red, and orange these days (even if it's "turd brown" to Piney).

They did the same thing last year with the E Gates, they put up a wall to block off the other concourses. I assume E is completely closed now, unless they are using it as a barn as it seems to have been intended.

If USAir was leasing/using 50 gates and they've reduced their flight activity by 58%, it would seem that about 22 gates would be needed now. Does concourse A have more than 22 gates? Maybe they could consolidate all activity to one long arm of the airport.

They were using a lot more than 50 gates when you count the E Gates, of which there were roughly 25. Even though it's no longer called a "hub" by the company, the schedules are still banked (six to eight banks as far as I can tell). So with about 70 daily mainline departures and about 150 daily Express departures, they need 10-12 (perhaps a few more for a larger bank) mainline gates and about 25-30 parking positions for RJ's/props.
