Delta has many 330s, LCC has a few. The message is LCC is small.

Part of it may be what the team was willing to pay for. And the Packers probably needed the lift since they are likely obligated to let the entire city of Green Bay fly with the team.

If the Steelers really wanted an A330, I'll bet they could have had one.

The Team picks the size of the plane they want to fly on. The Steelers used the 757 all the time, they even requested and got the same 757 for their last super bowl and the playoffs run a couple of years ago.

The Team gets what they are willing to pay for.
The Steelers Did use the B757 until they took the A321 a few years ago. Being a wider Aircraft, they found it more comfortable than the Boeing. They did Charter the B767 when they went to the Super Bowl in PHX. Not sure how many people have been on A/C after the Team, but they TRASH the Aircraft. Food, Water Bottles, Soda Cans and Snacks all over the Aircraft. They are Pigs and repect nothing !

It goes back to NW, I saw them bring in the Eagles to FLL Jet center one day in a 747. Took up half their ramp.
