today the company announced east will be switching to USHealthcare. Under this plan we will have vision care, which we've not had before. What is covered under Spectra?

Thanks....

Not very much. It is included with medical automatically, and you get an eye exam, along with glasses or contacts, every 24 months. If you pay extra for the "buy-up", you get those benefits once a year.

But . .for materials.. it sucks, espcially contacts. If you need special things (like toric lenses), you only get a certain allowance . .like $100 or something.

thanks for the info

My wife,Daughter and I went last weekend. I have the buyup, still cost me 107.00 for wifes frames with new perscription, daughter received year of contacts 32.00 and my lenses in old frames cost 187.00 (progressive). This of course included the checkup fees.
In MX we have better UHC insurance than the Supervisors, but it cost 204.72 a month for a family. 10.00 copay and 10.00 most drugs.
I am sure it will go up again, goes up every year.

Better than here on East. We have NO vision. I as a single person pay around $75 a month. Co pay is $20..specialist is $40.
