Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport has become the first Indian airport to trial automated e-Gates to improve passenger experience.
Installed at the domestic pre-embarkation security check areas, the e-gates open automatically when passengers present their 2D barcoded paper or mobile boarding pass, speeding up the security check.
