Boeing Blocked from opening second 787 Line

Make up your mind. Is he a socialist or does he cater to Wall Street?

Last time I checked, most Wall Street types liked to keep their wealth and also promote policies that encourage that philosophy.

Yeah, you're right...somewhere the Obama mission was corrupted.......maybe that's why his base is so pissed off.

Like I showed previously, from his own book, his socialist/marxism is documented.

Even Soros, who funded the inexperienced politician, is looking beyond.

Yep, you are right.

He ended up being a centrist in the mold of a Bill Clinton.

See you in 2016.

You salute his 6 x 8 pic everytime you enter the door?

He never can be a centrist due to his ideology and has proved this time and time again.

Wake up Tech.....you worship a Commie.

Actually I think he is a Statest & Globalist! Now the first one I could tolerate if he were NOT a Globalist. To me a conservative Globalist is as bad as a Liberal/Progressive Globalist.

Call me Libertarian or an America First guy as I'll wear that badge with honor. With notable exception of Ron Paul ALL of the current crop of candidates are Globalists first and US Citizens second. To think that those brave men like my uncle ran onto to beaches the world over to preserve Freedom & Liberty for this current generation of Political Sewage currently in power along with most who want to be in power makes me nauseous. Collectively, the current crop don't make a pimple on a founding father's ass.

Makes me want to go have a beer and a Belgian one at that.

How can our esteemed friends here on the forum be so blatantly blind to what is going down in our once sacred country?

Its even worse...

A memo leaked from the National Labor Relations Board makes clear that President Barack Obama and the labor advocates he put on it are embarked on a campaign to make unionized firms even harder to manage. The NLRB’s recent suit against Boeing Aircraft Co. is merely the first step.

Not only is Obama’s NLRB standing firm in its Boeing suit, but the leaked memo, which was obtained by The Heritage Foundation’s Hans von Spakovsky and James Sherk, also shows that the board seeks to elevate union officials to equal partnership with executives in corporate boardrooms of all unionized firms.

The memo instructs NLRB regional operatives to flag all cases in which unionized firms made relocation decisions without submitting detailed economic justifications to their unions. The board plans “case-by-case” reviews, followed by prosecutions of selected cases. The intended consequence is that all major business decisions will become subject to approval by unions.

Ladies and Gentlemen we have a bingo.

Worst case scenario it won't take until 2012 the economy could collapse as soon as this fall

Just like Wall Street and the Obama administration, eh?

I thought we were talking about Boeing and the NLRB?

I hear all these talking heads on the radio and TV having a hissy fit over this. I'll just repeat what I said earlier.

It would appear that some people on this thread are missing a very important point. Point being the 787 program is a mess because of the decisions made at the beginning of the program by the people who run the company. The people who build the 787 in Everett have little to do with the problems with that program. The decision to have a second production three thousand miles from the first is just another bad decision piled on top of all the other ones regarding the 787. Setting up a second production line will not fix what is wrong.

I know people are going to try and say that if the union goons in Washington were to just get their act together they would not have the issue of a second production line. Once again the problem is not the folks building it. You can trace the problem to having a totally unrealistic entry into service date for the first mass produced composite airliner. Add to that having sub-contractors like Vought do work they had not done before. Like stuffing the sections they made with all the associated equipment whereas before Boeing would do that work. End result, work not being done properly which resulted in work getting out of sequence. That’s why Boeing has a facility in Charleston in the first place. Vought made such a mess of things, aided and abetted by Boeing; Boeing had no choice but to buy them out. For around a half a billion dollars, that should cut into profits.
