What's new

BUF

Don't believe it to be sad from the employee's perspective. They are glad not sad, unless you were one of few favorites. BUF agents were overjoyed with this decision.

Was the position eliminated ans is the station going to be co-managed with another or was this just a firing?

Just a firing. Station still has a decent amount of employees. Tempe will staff with management, rest assured.

who was the manager in BUF?

Her name was Gretchen Colyer. She used to be a manager in SEA and transfered to BUF a few years ago. A shift manger here transfered to MSY and left an opening. Rumor has it, Gretchen had 100 applicants and interviewed only 3 before promising the job to a gal who used to work as a CSA here but had left to be a F/A supervisor for Chautauqua. Gretchen told the company she had interviewed all 100 but the truth leaked out when a lot of the applicants called the company asking why they hadn't had an interview as of yet. She was asked for her resignation.

did she replace Bett O'Neil? I remember when Brett O'Neil left ABE to go up there but I dont think he made it a year but I dont know.

I would hate to hear it that Gretchen was let go.
Gretchen was in Catering CLT years ago and I
think she was Piedmont. I believe she came to
CLT from TRI.
I admired her because she was a single mom
and wouldn't take cr@p from anyone. Moved up
the chain without brown-nosing.

There was at least one between Brett and Gretchen. Brett resigned right around the 2Nd BK. He was a GREAT guy and couldn't stand to see people screwed AGAIN! He got a dream job with the TSA at BUF as a manager and is the spokesperson for them.
