The weapons found in Iraq were built in the 1980's with the help of the USA.  The weapons that were found by the US soldiers and the weapons held by IS are weapons from the 80's that are severly degraded and unusable as weapons.  They are more dangerous to the people handling them than they are to anyone else.

These are not the weapons that Bush and CHeney based their invasion of Iraq on.  They were saying that Sadam was building new weapons and none of those were found.

I have said from the get go I did not like ACA.  I think it was a bad compromise with the GOP.  I wanted and still want single payer.  Get insurance out of the health care industry.  Need to get Pharm compaines under control as well.

There you have it, GWB declaring Iraq violating terms of disarmament Iraq agreed to at the end of the 1991 war. No mention of 'new' weapons facilities or programs, only the fact that Iraq did indeed have WMD's it agreed to document and destroy and did not.

Foundation for ALL of the wars was built in 1953 with the CIA led overthrow od the duly elected government of Iran and the installation of the Shah and his reign of terror.

Though the CIA's follies back in the early 50's didn't help the situation, the foundation of all the Middle East wars goes back over 5000 years.  As was explained to me years ago...it's the same situation as when an Arkansas dirt farmer leaves a 100 acre farm in equal shares to 13 children.  There's not enough for anyone to make a living on.  And, in the Middle East, the problem is compounded by the question, "Who controls the water?"  Oil is of no consequence if you don't have water for sustenance.

I was just watching something on the news about the soldiers who worked on these weapons to secure them an such.  They are being ignored by the service, their medical needs are being denied.  It's shameful.  This country has no respect for the men and women who serve.
