But Snow on Thursday said the negotiations over Pelosi’s transport have been conducted solely by the House sergeant-at-arms and the Pentagon, with no direct involvement by the speaker or her office — or the White House.

Seeing as politicians say stupid things every day and you provided no link to the comment you were referring to yes I am asking the question. Do you not have the ability to carry on a conversation without insulting someone or is that the only way you can make your self feel good?

I'll ask again. Were you the the comments made regarding the CEO's flying in on their jets a few months ago or has she made a different comment more recently?

In general, these blow hard politicians are great at wagging the finger at corporate America (and everyone else for that matter) for their behavior, at the same time feel entitled to spend the tax payers money frivolously.

The Sergent at Arms of the House is in charge of the security for the Speaker. Given that the Speaker is second in line for the Presidency, some concern for the safety is valid in this day and age.

The US Secret Service is in charge of the security for the President and Vice President. Would you like to park Air Fore One as well?

The CEO's were coming to DC in order to beg for money. I found it offensive that they flew to DC in their corporate jets while claiming to be broke.

Was Pelosi the only member of Congress to speak about the jets? Do you understand that Pelosi has no say in how she travels? Are you aware that the BOD is the one who stipulates how the CEO's travel and that the contract is not bound by US law and can be altered. When is the last time a CEO was abducted from a national Airport or commercial aircraft?
