And I worked with a guy just like him. He had drug and alcohol issues and unending attendance problems. He was an attitude nightmare. But my Company let this guy slide too for years.
Finally a few months ago they had enough and were going to fire him. So what did he do? The night before he needed to see the Manager he went on a bender and at around 4AM was witnessed driving almost 100 MPH, car went through the air and crashed, caught fire and he burned to death.
And the saddest part is I don’t even think his coworkers cared. A few fake words for awhile but I’m sure everyone is glad he’s gone.
