I know of many USAirways people that have had major problems and the run around with this company...I have just gone thru it first hand...know of one person that was sent to the hosp while CAREMARK was scratchin there arse...they lie and tell you anything to get you off the phone...then will not fill your meds...meds that some need to live...do USAirways employees really want this un caring buck passing company to fill our meds in 07? anyone else had issues with CAREMARK?

I just had a small run in with them. I had a small procedure done a little while back and all of a sudden Caremark calls to ask about a prscription of something that I didnt even know what it was for. They were gonna send me something I did not ask for nor did the doctor. They said "well its all paid for" "are you sure you do not want it?" "its comepletely covered by insurance %100"...I said" I dont know what it is for nor do I have anything wrong?" ...Those people are crazy!!!

Well lets see....last month they did not fill my scripts because there were 0 refills left, doctor faxed all info, still no refills...doctors refaxed and finally sent...now there billing me instead of using my card that is on file..Earlier this year I noticed two different style pills in the same bottle, after 1 1/2 hrs on hold they finally conx me to a staff pharmacist(sp), he said to send back and he'll send corrected rx. They really went down hill this past year..

Keep a close eye on your bank statement. They have charged me twice for meds that I never bought. Once is a mistake. Twice is fraud.
anyone know the CEO or a name...when I ask for a supv I am told they can't pass me to there boss...I have gone as far as to contact my state rep in congress...and people think US has bad customer service...CAREMARK is on my black list I will alert the media and everyone I deal with...my issue is still in the wind...guess I will have to go to the ER to get meds...what a bunch of crap...logon to caremarksux.com

Only problem I've had is sending multiple perscriptions in the same envelope. They say they only received one. I've had to call the physician and have them reissue the Rx or have them call Caremark. Otherwise, no problems at all.

I called my bank and reported fraudulent charges. Caremark got things sorted out real quick. They haven't pulled that nonsense since. I wonder how often they do this thinking that x amount of people never check their balance and statements. But what the heck, they save the company money on health care.

I've never had any problems witht them. I don't doubt that others have though.
When HP first swithch over from PCS, Caremark sent me a letter saying that I had been prescribed Alegra-D through the PCS plan, but it was not their formulary. But if I filled out the records transfer, they would grandfather me. A year later I was flying with someone that complained that she had to pay $50 per month for Alegra-D for her daughter. I questioned it because I was still paying $10. It turns out she never sent in the records transfer, thinking it was an independant life insurance offer and threw it away.
Another friend complained he had to pay the full no insurance rate for Viagra. I questioned that as well because I had a copy of the formulary list and all three ED drugs were on the list. It was the dosage size of the pill that was not allowed.

Again, I don't doubt anyones troubles mentioned on this thread, but my experience over here is that the plan was not understood, nor was there an effort to look into what was covered and what was not.

No Problems Here. Always Got My Med's in The Mail Without A Hitch

Thankfully I don't have to deal with them. My only on-going med is for a drug that has to be re-prescribed every 30 days, so Caremark doesn't come into play. I just run down to the CVS and have it filled. ADD finally does soemthing good for me!

Booooo Hoooooo imagine if you didn't have ANY coverage like millions and millions of Americans. 🙄 Or the millions of elderly that can't afford their rx's? A problem Caremark may be sometimes but anything can be fixed with time. I'm sure it's a real pain int he A$$ but.....again, at leats you HAVE coverage.

I dont deal with their mail drug to my home crap..mainly because I dont have the patience to deal with those forms..
I have ignored that offer . I like punching them buttons on my telephone every 30 days to refill my meds...

Back on reserve? I never knew I left reserve? 🙄 I wasn't saying your problem or your cost was NO BIG DEAL so don't make me out to be some heartless A$$H@le. What I meant is though it can be a real pain in the A$$ it's STILL coverage that some don't have. Yes you should get what you pay for and all healthcare is insane.

I use Caremark with another employer and it works great. I think you had a bad experience however, we get alot of prescriptions from them and it works fine all the time. One customer problem doesn't mean they are bad. Just like one bad union employee doesn't make the entire union bad.
