Taking a position outside of Usairways..... Meaning he was asked to leave his badge and hit the road for NOT following orders. He got B!tCH slapped. I'm sorry, though I had cordial conversation from him he was one of THE MOST unprofessional people. RUDE, condescending and though you maybe be able to share your "I liked Andrew" story he DID NOT like flight attendants. He thought we were crybabies, complainers and thieves as he so put it in similar words. Maybe Angela P. across the pond can put him on her travel pass.

Oh and FYI he said he was leaving on XXX date and was told, "no worries you can go now". Buhhh bye.

He seemed nice enough, but I have had very little contact with him over the years.

Unless you had a skirt on, Andrew could care less about your issue or helping. If you were a male you should just keep on walking or risk getting a short, rude and unhelpful response. Items in his office were disappearing for weeks. He knew his days were numbered and rightfully so. Anyone who can come into a briefing with spaghetti stains on his Izod shirt and khaki pants, well....doesn't need to be the Manager of In flight PHL International. The example starts at the top.
He will be fine. He owns another business and is fairly involved in Philly politics.

Many years ago I learned to write my supervisor's, base manager's... etc, number down in pencil. The truth is nobody wants to work in the supervisor's office. It just isn't worth it.
As for Andrew, I wish him well and I hope he can find a career that he is better suited for. I didn't feel that he ever had the information I was seeking. I have heard him give false information and when I asked him to commit to an answer he just skirted around the subject and excused himself.

I am not about kicking a person when they are down. Andrew will be fine. It's the truth. He was ill fitted for the position in the first place and SHAME on whomever promoted him. Oh wait, that was Miss. Muffins from Manchester, UK. AKA former Base Director Angela. What a clear violation of corporate policy. Naughty naughty, in more ways than one.
