Does anyone think that US's marketing dept will use the Nascar Hall of Fame to it's advantage? I think with some creative thinking and some type of partnership, some great packages could be put together....

it would be neat to see the Piedmont and the USAIR cars in the museum.
I think it would also be cool to see a car with the new US colors out on the race tracks!

Do they have a Marketing Department?

Not to the point that anyone can tell anyway.

The NASCAR HOF is 4 years down the road from now..and lets hope some thought is given to it...but many other things need to be exploited other than the employee's until the HOF opens. 😛

I agree...The #44 Piedmont Airlines car that Terry Labonte won the 1984 Winston Cup Championship in , needs to be put on display. The origional Piedmont #3 Car that was driven by Ricky Rudd , before Texas Terry took the controls is already on display at the Richard Childress Racing Museum in Welcome , N.C.. That car or another example of the car wouldn't be a bad addition either. I'm Sure RCR would have no problem replicating one for the HOF...and I'm sure they will have a Black (GM Goodwrench) #3 or a Blue and Yellow (Wrangler)car ready for display quickly. 🙂

If PHX had gotten it there would be "Congratulaions PHX on being named...". But it's CLT "The Hub of Choice" and now "The Hub of NASCAR", no such mention. Oh well...

On runway 36L instead of saying "cleared for takeoff" the controller will say "go fast, turn left". 🙄
