Unless I overslept two whole days, the camp hasn't happened yet... so how can the picture be in About US? :huh:

"The Camp" starts August 7th (two sessions) and a follow-up August 8th (two sessions). I know several people going.....I was encouraged, and DECLINED. Many will give Shambles pretty much 10 minutes to mutter something 'somewhat intelligent' or trust me someone will throw a Malatov Cocktail "Welcome to the East......Birdbrain!". And YES, it is no rumour that certain individuals were told "You are not exactly WHAT they are looking For" and this is why I am skeptical of the Theatrical Production (distinguished Cast, mediocre performance). And furthermore, I can't Go........I am Too Damn BUSY making Fortune Cookies for China !

That picture you a referring to is a completely different meeting. Not the FA focus group. That is the group that is part of the branding of business casual. Keep your information straight, that is why this board is full of inaccurate information and is detrimental to those that read it.

The Union Leadership (Pilot/FA/Mechanic/CustomerService) should be very vocal and not only give a VERY Public "Vote of No Confidence" but demand an Executive "Turnover". They are a disgrace and every day they stay WRITES ANOTHER CHAPTER. :angry:

Agreed.

Were the leadership competent, Sherri would be fired, just for wasting money in this manner. They obviously are more concerned with rearranging deck chairs than solutions. They view their problems as short term employee discontent and are not interested in long-term solutions.

Restricting your attendees to those who gained your attention with money-saving ideas risks have those same people hijack your discussions with personal agendas.

It will be the same 20 people we see all the time. (Look! It's Bill and Audrey!) Sherri will promise to sort out catering issues. It will be announced that our brand is to just be nice. Any suggestions for improvements to the product or the work life of our cabin crews will be "considered", but never implemented due to our "cheap at all costs" mentality. Two weeks later a tacky new pin for F/As to wear will be issued, and nothing will change.

I would never be invited to such an event, nor would any other flight attendant with a little bit of intelligence.

Oh well. I reach a much larger audience than the Shambles anyway!

I know for a fact that 3 people are attending the meeting today in clt. They are not repeat not in anyone's pocket. I was actually surprized they were picked.

I know F/A's out there with a stack of A & B cards who would just as soon cut DP's testicles off, deep fry them and serve them to him for dinner. They also have pointed opinions about the direction US is headed and this process denies them access which is patently unfair.

Aug7th is the scheduled Orientation for Cheerleaders in CLT to address the ISSUES hampering US. I can't wait to see who fires the FIRST SHOT if Sherri was distraught over the Town Hall Session in May wait till she see's what some have planned at THIS pow-wow. Trust me, it will not be a Camp David Peace Summit. 😛 BANG!

They asked people not to talk about it or "post" anything. 🙄 I understand it was very blah blah blah. Some people were very vocal which is good. But a lot were dissapointed when they said the next meeting would be in a "few" months. Catering was a huge issue. A person I know that left me a voicemail said it felt like a waste of time. Can anyone else put thier thoughts forward or did they clamp down on everyone's tounge?
