Some people would do anything to keep two pilot groups from coming together, even spending 8 billion dollars to bring in a third group of airmen. Not only is this the harbinger of a mass merger frenzy but the timing disrupts ALPA in a big way. Hmmmm.

Dear Doug: ARE YOU CRAZY? We haven't even fixed Philly yet much less the other stuff and and you are out there making a huge pre-holiday shopping run! Look at the last ten years. What a ride... down, up, down, up then down again and now up. I'm getting a little queasy and I think I want to get on one of those little boats for awhile.

PHL will NEVER be fixed. It's been beyond repair for years. Lots of yadda, yadda, yadda's from every mgmt that came thru the revolving door at Crystal City, and it's still the stinky mess it always was, from the day it opened.
