Folks we are starting to drift on the topic. Lets get back. Thanks.
So back to the topic at hand...is there any rumor to the CLT-HNL route being nixed?
i hate to burst yalls bubble but from early October to December 18 clt-hnl is not appearing on usairways.com
I could easily see CLT-HNL become seasonal after this next winter. It would allow for them to do CLT-MAD seasonally in the summerWhy is it that they started it as year-round daily service? Wouldn't it be wiser to do several days a week and see how demand goes? But then they would have to have the crew there on a longer RON, god forbid the crew gets to have any fun  🙄
The problem with CLT- Mad is the Route is not the greatest performer out of Philly, so why add more seats into a weak market. The rumor mill in Philly is wispering about a secind TLV flight- that might be a new route from Charlotte since it has been very sucessful out of philly and is very profitable. The Hnl flight should be scrapped as US doesnt have aircraft suitable(at least they choose not to use one such as a 330-200) for a long thin route like Clt- Hnl. Please fellow Clt boosters dont bite my head off on that one its the truth.I could easily see CLT-HNL become seasonal after this next winter. And what do you base that opinion on ??The problem with CLT- Mad is the Route is not the greatest performer out of Philly,....
Looks like the winter inventory is zeroed out as well - so this flight looks like it is gone for good. I guess the question is where will they fly the aircraft to next.?perhaps if the economic climate is better they will add another new flight to europe or reinstate a suspended city such as MXP.Well, that's not exactly correct. From 08SEP10-28NOV10, the flight is loaded as X123. It is then suspended for the lull in between Thanksgiving and X-mas and returns to daily service on 16DEC10.
That being said, I would expect that we'll see some changes between now and then. <_<
