CNN is just too nice to US

I expect the FF's will be noticing this....

"Thank the travel gods for America West. Until they merged a couple months ago, your $1,000 for first class got you only a snack box and a Coke. Now expect 38 inches of seat pitch and food on all flights including items like chicken cordon bleu with California Pasta salad."

It is such a crock. They do not know of what they speak. US East stopped serving boxes in August last year (I remember because that is when those horrible Greek Scrambled Eggs were served--sorry Piney, I recall you liked them--you may have been the only one by the way). Chicken Cordon Bleu? Are they kidding? How about nothing on DFW to PHL. Nothing on FLL-PHL. And on PHX-PHL I bought the BOB because the meal was so bad. Oh, and the snack basket is lucky to be fully stocked.

They only comment on UA's PS service--their regular FC service is top notch as well.

I have heard a rumor from the CP desk that FC service will be improving. Who knows if this is true....

UA also does not have leather seats. Their domestic fleet has cloth First class seats, which, honestly, I find more comfortable than leather. NW has by far the worst First class seats.

UA's seats are very comfortable--particularly with the wings on the headrest. And, Channel 9 is a great feature on UA. There is no comparison between UA and US premium class--domestic or international. Somebody was smoking crack when they thanked US for their FC product. The article has it wrong. Food on ALL flights? The last time I got food on a PHL-BOS flight...NEVER...nor do I expect it. And, the list goes on for flights that should have food, but don't. And, the food on US is junk--the food on a UA 2-hour flight is much better than the food found on US transcon.
