Any idea what they are putting in your children's heads these days?

Schools—There will be only one—Common Core

Everything must be one—controlled and shaped by Obama and his handlers. As in the days of Adolph Hitler, Obama must take over the minds and futures of our children. He will rise up an army of obedient ‘Stepford wives’ happily serving big Government and Obama. They will stop dreaming about becoming a Doctor, Firefighter, Pastor or Teacher. They will only think of their appointed place in the ‘Global Community’ ‘Private-Public Partnerships’ and latest ‘redistribution of wealth scheme ordered by Obama and his staff. Commentator and investigative journalist Sher Zieve (regular on my national radio show each Monday) captured this Nazi spirit beautifully in her article.

Through Common Core—public then charter schools are becoming nothing but deadly indoctrination centers to push porn, the gay agenda, Islam and sustainability. History is rewritten to leave a strong impression of shame and need to submit and apologize to the world. This is obviously inspired by our poser President who does nothing but apologize to the world for America.

As our new and improved ‘Sustainability model’ kids turn into perverted and globalist hacks, God of the Holy Bible and parents rights will be a thing of the past. Right and wrong, sin and evil will become fossils to be viewed in the back room of a museum. Obama and his backers will sooner or later control all curriculums in every school in America that are recognized. Homeschoolers will be increasingly persecuted and regulated until they are even more underground—then gone. Achievement and exceptionalism will be gone. What will remain is a sea of ‘Unitarian’ ‘one size fits all’ low achieving surfs.

"In 2009 the National Governors Association hired David Coleman and Student Achievement to write curriculum standards in the areas of literacy and mathematics instruction. Announced on June 1, 2009,[6] the initiative's stated purpose is to "provide a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn, so teachers and parents know what they need to do to help them."[7] Additionally, "The standards are designed to be robust and relevant to the real world, reflecting the knowledge and skills that our young people need for success in college and careers," which will place American students in a position in which they can compete in a global economy.[7]"

45 states have adopted this

Aren't the majority of governors Republicans?

Notice, it said states. Not the feds.

But some batshit craxy #### disturber found a way to blame Obama...

BTW,

There are legit criticisms of common core, from one end of the political spectrum to the other.

This recent right wing hype accusing Obama of brainwashing your children is nothing more or less than the pure, unaldurated selling of fear and hate.

As Obama Touts Common Core, The State Standards Spread Slowly Across U.S.: Study

The piled-on reform she refers to received top billing in Barack Obama's State of the Union address.

The Obama administration incentivized these national standards, which came to fruition through the collaboration of governors, state schools' chiefs and Gates Foundation cash.

Batshiit crazy, but in another post you claim it has all kinds of problems....

I like it when you talk out of both sides of your azzhole.

Some batshit crazy ranter found a way to blame Obama for something that the governors of the states did.

I said that there are criticisms from all sides.

Those two statements not only do not contradict each other, they do not have a single thing to do with each other.

I didn't claim "it has all kinds of problems".

You shouldn't lie about what someone says when it is so easy to check, huh?

The point was that this was a bipartisan effort, at the state level, and wasn't some Dem/Lib program that the flat-earthers, TP'ers and Republicans hate automatically just as an extension of their hating Obama.

The criticisms seem to center around application, testing, teaching to the test etc., and not ideological.

It has two components, English and Math.

Nothing ideological there.

Just another BS RIght Wing Circle Jerk

Fear and hate spurtin' out all over everywhere...

Nothing accomplished, xcpt some on-air ranter laughing all the way to the bank with his wheelbarrows full of ad dollars.

I did

By any measure they have grown into people I truly respect and admire, and everything a parent could hope for.

I could not have given them the quality of education or the depth of experience they got at the local public schools.

No way, No how

Yeah, right.....states are being railroaded into accepting this by Obama and if they don't they become ineligible for billions in federal Race to the Top funding.

[background=rgb(255, 255, 255)]Stop by a PTA meeting and try to find out details of the curriculum.....you can't, its subject to disclosure agreements.....[/background]

Anyone with internet access can read the standards right here...

http://www.corestandards.org

Notice, again, they pertain to Math and English, only, and are educational goals and standards only.

Nothing ideological here.

Curriculum information and course completion standards are easily available on the web for the schools my kids attend(ed). I live in suburban Missouri, hardly a bastion of liberal thinking or high levels of spending on education.

I bet the info is readily available to most if not nearly all.

Keep trying to defend the lies, Dude...

Why is it you never, ever, respond to the issue?

Spurt...spurt... Spurt...

Nothing ideological here except the program is driven from DC with Obama's blessing and stimulus monies.

The standards have not been piloted nor have they been empirically validated. What that make it, scholastic malpractice?

And meetings of the Council of Chief State School Officers where the standards are written and discussed and tests are drawn up are closed to the public....so like I said, its none of your business....

And there is more to this initiative than just Math and English.

So the Fed dangled the carrot to the states Gov's with cash incentives and so on and its not being pushed by the Fed nor is it ideologically driven when its set up and pushed by an extreme progressive agenda.

More BS

It was set up, driven by, and adopted by the states

The only seriously red state that hasn't is Texas

The others are HI, MN, WV, and NE, one dark blue, on pink, two purple

It specifically addresses Math and English. Not language, even. English

Two of the three R's

Keep digging

LOL......

Forty-six states and the District of Columbia submitted comprehensive reform plans to compete in the Race to the Top competition. While 19 states have received funding so far, 34 states modified state education laws or policies to facilitate needed change, and 48 states worked together to create a voluntary set of rigorous college- and career-ready standards.

Some batshit crazy ranter found a way to blame Obama for something that the governors of the states did.

Claim: Common Core is a federal takeover of the public education system.
Fact: The National Governors Association along with the Council of Chief State School Officers spearheaded the effort to develop the Common Core State Standards. It was formed by state officials, not federal officials.
The Obama administration in 2010 made states' participation in Common Core one of the requirements for receiving Race to the Top grants, but Common Core itself was not developed at the federal level and is not under control of the Obama Administration.

First, Common Core had its Genesis in other efforts to improve education in the 90's, at the state level, and was commissioned in 2009 by the state governors and education officials. Race To The Top began in 2010.

Common Core originated with the mostly Republican state governments

Second, if participation in a program is voluntary, and RTTT is, then it can hardly be called a "takeover" by the federal government. The states still get to decide if they want to implement the standards that they as a group commissioned the creation of.

Telling, though, how many "red" states are rushing to qualify for the grants from RTTT, since it is one of the much despised "socialist" Obama "stimulus" programs.

Do these people have any principles, or character, at all?

Keep digging

You were lied to

You very often are

And the liars are getting rich at your expense
