If I recall, years ago there was a Corporate Mission Statement that read something to the effet that, as a corporation, Usairways believes the mark of a responsble company is one that follows and adhears to certain Guiding Principles, among those were:
1. Provide a great work environment and treat each employee with respect and dignity.

2. Embrace diversity as an essential way in which we do business.

3. Apply the highest standards of excellency to our customers.

4. Actively develop satisfied customers every day.

5. Recognize that the employees are the ones who put a face on the corporation and are essential to our future.

These may be somewhat out of sequence or wording, but I remember seeing this posted in our office and hallway. What happened along the way to make all of these disappear? I havent seen a Corporate Mission Statement anywhere in years.
