Trapped in PHL with a bunch of other crews. No one can get through to crew sched for the past 7 hours!!! This is insane.

Welcome to life as a U passenger. At least those at the top won't be sleeping in the airport tonight...Whew..they need their rest for the next round of "We know you've given, but it's still not enough" marathon.
 
And I hope no one hurts their arms patting themselves on the back for what a great job they did by making PHLLY a hub airport. Yeah, right.

Call a hotel. Get a van. Get your credit card out and take care of your crew. Leave a message on the voice response system, if you can. Been there. Done that. Good Luck. Greeter. (ALWAYS been compensated)
 
did the same thing 9/11 in PIT Walmart---H. I- wanted to rape the company--put it on my CC and called the clt c/p . It got fixed !

Wow! How far do you think I'd get as a passenger on a FLL $49 ticket trying this? Unfortunately, as a customer, I can't spend hours waiting to speak to a real person in the US, only to be transfered into eternal transfer limbo hell, (don't even ask me what you can do with your "Alan" and "Alix". If us is trying to be a LCC by imulating(sp?) dl and losing millions of dollars, you're doing a great job. I'll never waste $49.00 on u again. I'll buy up and get what I pay for. Advertised sale fares are for suckers that have nothing better to do with their week than shop for that 1 illusive seat out their somewhere.
 
Just for comparison:
Jetblue fhad several flights divert last night before the runway closed due to snow. Apparently a 747 went off the end of the runway at JFK. Jetblue put customers and crew up in hotels and provided vouchers for their next flight. :up:
 
Well Jetblue makes money and US is in bankruptcy, big difference.

Jetblue's management cares about thier passengers, US does not.

I don't think jetBlue would be as generous if they were nearly the size of US Airways. It will be interesting to see if they do get as large as the majors and continue to be as generous.

At any rate, what is happening in the northeast is extraordinary. No company staffs for the exception.

Sorry thing for you to say on a public forum ESPECIALLY since you have NO exposure to the customers like the Agents and Crews. WE are the company...NOT management.

The employees only to do the day to day operation of the company, Management makes the policies they have to abide by.

And yes this management does not give a crap about the employees nor the passengers.

Hate it that you don't like reality, but get out of the cockpit and see what is happening to your coworkers.

There are amany employees that are about to lose their jobs. Meanwhile, back at your ranch, you get to still keep a nice income, and lets not "rain on your parade". :angry:
