CWA'ers, where is our step raise?

I think according to the company's logic??? it should have started this week. The contract stated 20 months after the first pay period beginning after April 1. I would have thought it should have started December 2, but I guess the pay period after April 1 is the key. Also I don't see in the contract where is states that our January 2008 raise starts on the first pay period, so shouldn't this raise start on January 1?

Effective on the first pay period following twenty months
from the first increase. America West employees and MLE
Agents will be increased to 100% of their appropriate step
of the CWA CBA, placing them at 100% of the CBA CSA
payrates. In no event will an employee suffer a reduction in
pay.
 
Check with your business reps for IBT on the west coast. Nearly all MLE (CWA) stations have received their final pay parity raise. Oh, and by the way if you were to sit down and read the contract it is in the back where the transition agreement is.

I did read my CBA Dextor , and it said I should be making 23.33 as a Supervisor again due to "the event of a merger." What happened to that ? Its in "black and white?" I guess your one of those MLE agents with 5 flights a day that are just glad to be at $18 plus an hour!

NEARLY ALL DOESNT CUT IT FOR ME....we didnt get it either....and i am about tired of this seperation bewtween the cwa and the ibt.
if you are in either a west or east coast city contact your local so lists can be sent to the company....seems all the agents read the transition wrong---again??? I think not---the company is seeming to make up their own dates. or wait, were these new dates another LOA we didn't get to see/vote on?
 
We all should be making that much but unfortunately we went through 2 BK'S and ALL groups had to take paycuts otherwise we wouldn't be typing on this thread right now ! Get over it will you. As far as MLE, we got out raise as stated in our CBA and if you haven't you better get in touch with a manager to have them straighten it out, retro. Throwing stones at MLE is a disgrace, we didn't ask for this and we took almost a 700.00 paycut a month way back when. It is always the contract when there is an issue, take a step back and think about who did this to you ! The seperation is what everyone voted on as I recall so blame it on the rest of your co-workers if you have a problem. Sometimes you have to take the initiative to help yourself when something goes amiss with your paychecks instead of blaming anyone you can get to listen. Find it pretty darn hilarious how you jump on a thread just to bit_h and moan. If someone has wronged you make it right and stand up for yourself.
 
Oh and one more thing LGA / 037, if you do happen to work at LGA I wouldn't throw stones at MLE cuz mainline is a ghost town in that airport with the exception of the shuttle. Piemont has practically taken over the whole terminal so in actuality you are almost Express let alone MLE ! Can't say I saw more than a handful of mainline employees there, EN is all I saw !
 
LGA/ it appears SOME on this board cannot define a question for B*****NG and or moaning.

Apology is in order from me if LGA was asking a question and not b....ing and moaning. If you haven't gotten your raise go to management and get it corrected. It is your pay and your retro. If you still get no satisfaction file a grievance. I do know that the company is trying to fix the payroll issue as it seems many MLE stations and AWA stations didn't receive the $$$. Unfortunately the "company" states it is a holiday week and not too much can be done. UNACCEPTABLE !

its all unacceptable and we have to beg the union to correct it...sad....
 
😱 why do you have to beg the union. It is the companies responsibility to ensure you get your pay. The union cannot give your your raise. I would stand in front of the admin clerk and stop working until I get paid. Maybe this should go to the press???
 
It is my understanding (and I did confirm this with my local rep) that agents at the 'top' of the scale will be getting an increase effective today, 1/1/08. This should reflect on the next pay period.
