And since people like you didn't seem to have a problem with Barrack making Obamacare his #1 priority for those first 2 years and basically ignoring all else, I won't have a problem. with Romney spending his first 2 years, as POTUS , getting rid of Obamacare !

RDU made the comment that Barrack can't get anything done because of a republican majority in the house.
I then commented that when Barrack had a majority in the house and senate, all he was able to "PASS" was Obamacare !

Oh, and brilliant move by Roberts btw. He let Obamacare "STAND", to appease the Obama-bots but , labeled it a tax, which Barrack said it wasn't and in the end will make it easier for Romney to repeal next year !

If the DMV raises their fee's, do you consider that a tax increase? Also, is closing a loop hole in the tax code where by more taxes will be collected, a tax increase? Norquist believes it is and has made every republican swear to vote such a proposal down.

One thing is clear -- Obama has almost zero support from the active duty military, which is why it's so important to make sure their ballots don't count.

Romney's performance in the Monday debate was sly as a fox. He gave no room for Obama to really attack. Instead, he manipulated Obama into going back to discussing the economy, and that's where this election will be lost & won. Jobs and debt.

Think about it... We're scrapping more ships than we're building.

How many jobs does each new keel laid represent?

Yes, Romney did balance the budget in MA but it is how he did it that he does not want to talk about or when he does he lies about it. He raised a wide range of fees that touched everyone. Bottom line is he raised taxes. He also closed loop holes (raised taxes). I don't have an issue with taxes being raised through the closing of loop holes but you guys have this guy names Norquist who seems to have the collective nuts of the RNC in a steel vice. He considers fees and loop holes taxes. Romney has stated on various occasions that you cannot balance a budget merely on cuts alone especially when you want to increase the budget by $2 trillion to build a Navy that is not needed. How do you think he is going to convince Congress to raise taxes when they have sworn to Norquist that they would not do that? Romney is screwed before he even gets out of the gate on this one.

Biden said they were going to raise taxes by a trillion dollars. Where do you think that is coming from? Sorry but we don't have enough "rich" people in this country to do that. You and I will be paying, and given that Obama has done nothing but increase spending we will have tax increases and still not have a balanced budget. he will continue to spend us right into economic collapse.

Anything that Obama says that is the same thing he said in 2008 must be discounted, since we all know he was lying about it then after 4 years as POTUS and he has no intention of keeping to it now either. check out his 2008 vs 2012 videos, they are comical, same script but he is betting that the US public is too stupid to see that they are. Its a movie remake and a bad one at that.

You do realize that it is state law in Mass to have all depts budgets balanced.
