CNN Business is reporting that Delta Airlines is going to lay off 9000 employees and for the remaining huge paycuts including benes cuts. Also CEO Gerald Greinstein the ceo of DL is taking a 25% paycut.

Let's not spin...it is UP TO 9000 employees and can be anywhere from 7k to 9k.

There are a ton of job openings on www.bizjetjobs.com if this helps, I have been a member for about 3 months preparing for this. They have a ton of good job leads as well as a Corporate Flight Department directory of Every Corporate Dept in the U.S.

It's obvious some don't share the same enthusiasm for the job as you do 😛

Just a question. On DL website there shows to be job opening in most of DL reservation centers.. it even states that there are immediate openings.. I am new to DL message boards, does DL outsource reservations... It seems odd that they announce possible layoffs of up to 9000, yet they have openings in reservations.. any thoughts?
