Delta pilots surrender wallet...again

Before the responses are posted that Delta was doomed had the pilots voted no, ask yourselves how much did the executives give back to keep Delta afloat?

Quite a bit. DL's executives are the lowest paid in the industry...by far. DL's CEO makes $250K and gets no bonus. The rest of the exec team is similar.

No sympathy here. These "low paid" execs are paying for the obscene behavior of Leo Mullin & Co.

And they stood by watching Leo and DID NOTHING!

I don't feel sorry for them either, I'm just stating the facts.

As for standing by and doing nothing, that would only apply to Grinstein (who was on the BOD). Most of DL's exec ranks today didn't even work for DL during Mullin's tenure, so there was nothing they could have done.

They shouldn't be paid at all!

And most of them are still there, except Mullin, who's plan was the demise of US Airways...

And these people are held up on a pedestral!

Once again, this is false. Virtually all of DL's senior executives have turned over since the Mullin era. Vicki Escarra, Fred Reid, Michelle Burns...they're all gone.

DL's executives will be HANDSOMELY rewarded for "toughing it out" during the bankruptcy process.

And this is first hand experience folks............Driver works at one of those companys where the exec's walked away with the "reward" after the bk process was over. How hard can it be to hire some ambulance chasers and get a judge to hold his gavel over the employees and creditors head. The managers should get NO reward after the BK process, it should go to the employees and creditors. At least the pilots got 600m as a partial off set to the pension.
