DOH and BASES may be the next APFA concession ?

...poor ART................have you thought about a hobbie...maybe pick up a Learning Anex flyer on the corner and do something a little more productive with all that time on your hands rather than stiring the pot of dead horse stew.......................

The BODs from both airlines know the entire truth, not you or I. When the truth of the deal is revealed in a court of law, then we will all understand. We may not like what we hear, but finally the truth will be revealed and hopefully there will be less animosity on both sides. We continue to play right into management's hands, divide and conquer.
Art is obviously aware of the bombshell that is about to be laid at APFA's door. Prepare to be amazed. (Art I have been told that you are an attorney. I think that I have answered some of your e-mails in the past. Just wondering.)

I am so sorry, I thought you sent me to pick up an Annie Lennox album, not Learning Anex flyer (Have John Ward look at the lyrics for one of her songs WHY

http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~harel/cgi/pag...htmlit?Why.html

He may be reciting them soon or those of Sweet Dreams Are Made of This. ( http://www.lyricsfreak.com/e/eurythmics/22550.htm )
(I can email the MP3 files for both so he can pick up the melody)

Geez, next time AC AA LA FA, I'll bring the horse stew, the APFA can step in the other horse stuff I think you were referring to.

Good hobby's never die, righting wrongs and expecting adjudication to the wronged is a virtue. Help the APFA understand the adjudication leaning towards the restoration of Date of Hire/Service and their humble defeat.

Poor John should have the 3 for 1 slot in suggested here, now its going to be 1 for 1 or even straight DOH. I think the TW'ers will still go for a 1 for 2 if someone will pay attention. Why lose the whole game?

All of this aside, I want to wish all a belated Happy Thanksgiving. It is my hope that however meager or opulent the meal and setting; large or small the group or family; that we all sit back a longer than a moment to ponder the real meaning of Thankgiving. The ability for us to live in relative freedom of thought, purpose, religious practice and freedom to speak on issues that confront us. Don't forget to give a hug those that you treasure every day, in person or your convey one in your everyday conversations.

ART: You ARE truly Artfully Crafted and One of a Kind. Thank you for the Holiday wishes.
One can never say that you 'are a boring read'-you always test the mind, and tickle the toes of emotion, stimulate thought, and provoke conversation.I always look forward to reading your posts. Happy Holidays.

In the reality of TWA's world, should they win and I loose my seniority and therefore get furloughed, I should be able to turn around and then sue SOMEONE for some large amount of money, right? I mean, the courts should feel sorry for me because I'm some poor defenseless 25 year old who was only trying to make a living as a flight attendant. AA was my first and only choice for an employer and they DID hire ME. I INTERVIEWED with them and was chosen by THEIR OWN. Then came along the big bad company and just threw me out on the streets without a care in the world. Surely I'm entitled to something in this deluded world. Isn't that the way these things work? [BR][BR]AArtfully on CRACK I remain[BR][BR]Au Revoir, Sayonara, Adios, Ta Ta, See ya, Peace out and Goodbye from La La Land.

The TWA seniority debate is rather moot, since over 90% of TWA FAs will be on the street by the second anniversary of the AA sale. Simply put, the TWAers will more or less disappear from AMR soon, so why all the fuss over spilled milk???

Nice posting dude. A little too heavy on the sarcasm and bitterness though. May I suggest flying at least 25yrs (like most of us at LLC have).......then you'll really have something to be spitting mad about. This whole mess is about explotation of the our situation by the APFA. You're too young to fully appreciate our dilema now, but I guarantee that you will as you grow older and hopefully more mature.

Sorry FA TWAA, I see that I hit a nerve there. I just thought I'd add a little of my own flava up in this piece. Things were getting entirely too serious. Why should everyone else be allowed to have all the fun? And a bit of advice: If you're gonna be on the runway with me at 35,000 feet you'll need more than strapping good looks. Don't forget to pack your personality too. Surely you haven't lost THAT in your 25 years of flying.

These 25yr F/A's are just bitter that they have to own up to being pretty stupid to stay with a failing company for so long. I suggest the TWA'ers that feel they have been screwed start reading the US AIRWAYS boards. If you stay with a failing company for over 17 years then I guess you are saying well what ever happens, happens. We can always go to court because we have nothing else to lose.

You can (and have) put any spin on it to justify APFA's actions. This subject is as tired as all of your arguments. (Yawning now........and going to enjoy the rest of the beautiful day.)

[BR][STRONG]TWAA Allow me to dissect one of your former posts....[/STRONG][BR][BR] [EM]A little too heavy on the sarcasm and bitterness though. [/EM][BR][BR][STRONG]AAirMale[/STRONG]: Same adjectives may be used to describe the last few years of your career.[BR][BR] [EM]May I suggest flying at least 25yrs (like most of us at LLC have).......then you'll really have something to be spitting mad about.[/EM][BR][BR][STRONG]AAirMale[/STRONG]: So, 3,000 flight attendants from another airline wanting to take away the seniority that took 4 years of my life to rightfully earn doesn't constitute a reason for me to be pissed off? But because I'm not as old as you and haven't been flying as long, I don't deserve it? 4 years may not be much compared to 25, but that doesn't make it any less valid or important to me. It just means that I haven't been alive as long as you. You had your glory days at TWA. TWA no longer exists and neither does your DOH. And what about our 25+ year flight attendants? Where do they fit into your brilliant plan? Give me a chance to work 20 more years and I'll show you that it was worth every bead of sweat fighting for what I earned.[BR][BR] [EM]This whole mess is about explotation of the our situation by the APFA. [/EM][BR][BR][STRONG]AAirMale[/STRONG]: Darlin, you were exploited by your own union long before APFA came along. You had no right to my seniority even before TWA filed for bankruptcy... [BR][BR] [EM]You're too young to fully appreciate our dilema now, but I guarantee that you will as you grow older and hopefully more mature.[BR][/EM][BR][STRONG]AAirMale: [/STRONG]Y'know, you're right about that.
