Dumb Things Politicians Say

Obambi in todays racist (CYA) damage control speech:

“I could’ve calibrated those words differently

How does one calibrate words?

From Wiki

At the simplest level, calibration is a comparison between measurements-one of known magnitude or correctness made or set with one device and another measurement made in as similar a way as possible with a second device.

Obama

At a town hall meeting Wednesday, Obama laid out the three parts of his economic recovery act. The first part? Tax relief. "That's money in your pocket to buy cupcakes, and other necessities of life," Obama said.

Cupcakes? Thats it?
I guess you will leave to me to provide the context in which this was said. This is a about a small business owner that sells cupcakes.

Are you now against small business?

Live from Raleigh, Barack Obama

Here are highlights of President Obama's health care town hall in Raleigh, N.C.

Highlights: Obama defends his stimulus bill, saying it saved the economy from depression. Also says people shouldn't worry about how the politics of health care will affect his presidency.

QUOTE: "Will my presidency be damaged severely if we don't pass health care? I keep on saying to people, I've got health care. This is not for me. ... This is about people's lives. This is about people's businesses."

12:06 p.m.- President Obama's first health care stop today is at Broughton High School in Raleigh, N.C.

The president first salutes a local native, his personal assistant Reggie Love. Reggie played basketball at nearby Duke University. Thanks a local cupcake store owner for introducing him and giving him a T-shirt -- but no cupcake! Jokes that health care shouldn't stand in the way of a good cupcake (amen to that.)

12:20 p.m. - Obama says, "we helped stop a recession from becoming a depression," and explains how the jobs programs in the stimulus are helping. Says tax cuts are helping people buy "cupcakes and other necessities of life."

Vintage Obama

Video Obama 1995: In hard economic times, politicians tend to look for racial scapegoats. Watch to the end for some sweet, sweet bonus material on Rev. Wright, whose more radical tendencies The One naturally never ever had an inkling of.

Barack Obama would have to study for a week to elevate himself to idiot status. Good Lord!

I don't want money to buy cupcakes, I want money to see the DD Cups

I know this lady....man does she have nice cupcakes.....she also bakes.

Pelosi: If Everyone Were Pleased With Their Health Care, We Still Would Have Passed Obamacare

When the Pelosi Democrats took control of Congress on January 4, 2007, the national debt stood at $8,670,596,242,973.04 — that’s $8.67 trillion. Today, the last day of the 111th Congress and Pelosi’s Speakership, the national debt is $13,871,130,353,817.40 — that’s $13.87 trillion. A $5.2 trillion in just four years.

The Pelosi debt works out to $44,662 for every man, woman and child who make up the 310,574,015 U.S. populace.

And Liberals wonder why they are perceived as big spenders.

PALIN: That’s why I say I, like every American I’m speaking with, we’re ill about this position that we have been put in. Where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. Um, helping, oh, it’s got to be about job creation, too. Shoring up our economy, and putting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions, and tax relief for Americans, and trade — we have got to see trade as opportunity, not as, uh, competitive, um, scary thing, but one in five jobs created in the trade sector today. We’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation

It may be tempting and more comfortable to just keep your head down, plod along, and appease those who demand: 'Sit down and shut up,' but that's the worthless, easy path; that's a quitter's way out." --Sarah Palin, announcing her resignation as governor, July 3, 2009

You Peeps "Still" hatin' on Palin ?

Damn, you folks sure are scared as hell of this woman for some reason !

Hardly, hope she runs, that will be 4 more years for the democrats, and then 8 more with Hilary.

Its also pretty funny how Sarah Palin gets more attention from her "Tweets" then Obama does at anything he has to say publicly.
