As of today, they have not updated the AFA website regarding an agreement. You can check the Association of Flight Attendants website for updates: AFA

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- American Eagle, a unit of AMR Corp. , said after the closing bell on Wednesday that it has reached a tentative agreement in contract negotiations with the Association of Flight Attendants. American Eagle currently employs 1,751 flight attendants.

Thats good news. I was beginning to wonder if my AIP was going to be affected if the FA'S did not reach an agreement.

We have to wait and see if this TA passes the MEC. I hope not! If the pay scale is what the Union and company tried to offer us (50cents diffence) then they can shove it. That pay scale is a pay scale that we should of had 5 years ago when the contract became amendable. I VOTE NO without even looking at it!

TimeOff - I was only indicating that I do not think much of my AIP as it is. If the FA's were to strike, my AIP would most likely suffer.

Let me get this straight, it took 5 years to get a contract and at no time did the NMB release you to a cooling off period and a potential strike most likely due to the fact you're owed a raise. At NWA, the contract is up May 16, 2005 and the strike is on because the company wanted concessions. What gives?

AFA, not the organization you want at the bargaining table. Its hard to believe though that some one would consider without looking a contract with wage increases when everyone else is looking at pay cuts and NWA is actually striking over the extent of how large a pay cut and how much of a cut in work force they will have to swallow.

You all make me sick. The AE f/a and the company may have come up with a something good. And this turns into a #### session. That is why alot of people hate Union Fanatics. I hope A?E gets what they deserve for helping keep AA alive in these hard times. The AMFA can go to He!!

I don't know what you do for AA but, get a clue! Have you seen the TA? The current AE contract keeps them at the same pay for the first 5 years. Would you want to make $17 and change per flight hour for 5 years, without a raise? It obvious you are not a crew member at AA or AE. So, if you make $17.00 per hour as a ground employee at AA or AE; you get paid for each hour you're on the clock. We as crew members only get our hourly rate from when the brake is released until the brake is set on the aircraft. When you see a crew member sitting at the airport waiting for the plane or boarding the aircraft, we are only making our per diem ($1.50 per hour @ AA). We don't get paid when we have a 4 hour sit time (thanks to crew planning).

Instead of saying this has become a "#### session", you should wait until the TA is presented to the AE flight attendants. If they want to reject it, that's their CHOICE not yours.

Why would say the AMFA can go to he!!? This has nothing to do with the AMFA. The AMFA doesn't represent the AE flight attendants.

I can't find a word about any tentative agreement; not even a mention that there is one.

Once again, no one is holding a gun to their head, they can leave any time they want. I'm not sure why this is confusing.

It's not confusing. The fact is that the AE flight attendants like their job and hate their pay scale. Why quit if you like your job? They have the right to vote no on the TA, so they can improve on it. If they like it then they will vote yes and pass it.

Let me ask you this... If you like your job, would you quit? If you hate your pay rate, would you go to your boss and ask for a raise? If your boss said no, would you try to reach and agreement with him/her on a pay raise that you both agree on?
