I didn't have a laptop, I didn't have a meal, I didn't have much demand for a tray table at all on my flight, but the feature was immediately obvious for its lack of utility and conspicuous cheapness. The little drink tray screams: SPILL COKE ALL OVER YOUR PANTS AND INTO YOUR SHOE! It seems that the one thing I wanted to do was to have a drink without having it be right under my nose, but be confident it wouldn't spill all over me. There was no option for that. Look... not a big deal but just another LCC moment of obvious and conspicuous thoughtlessness.
