How dare the Democrats run a candidate for president and one who doesn't fully agree with the conservatives at that! Those traitorous scum!

No, I wouldn't have done the same thing. First off, I would not have looked at invading Iraq. If I got information about WMD's in Iraq, I would have verified, verified, VERIFIED reports that said that.

What do you call countless reports by the CIA, Russian and British Intelligence? Trash? Hindsight is 20/20, so it's easy for you to say now how there couldn't have been WMD's there.

Next place I'd differ is that I would have worked with other world leaders to discuss a way that we could work together towards resolving the issue in Iraq, rather than alienating them with a "F*** you, we'll do it ourselves" attitude.

We had no choice. Nobody in the UN wanted to confront Saddam on his disgusting record and his toying with weapons inspectors for well over a decade. They were chicken, and we weren't. We gathered whoever we could and based on our intelligence at the time, made a solid decision to stop the crap and get in there. Change this whole situation, do not give us the knowledge we have now regarding the WMD, and think about what would happen if Saddam did have WMD and they found their way to New York or LA. That's why we went to war folks. Remember how much animosity we had towards France when they wouldn't join the war with us? Now what happened to that? Talk about a F-U attitude...

Using the knowledge you have now to determine what you would have done is like being able to see into the future. We have a great president, in my opinion, but I don't think he has that ability any more than we do.
