fire season in sask

looks like the season may be underway here... they had a fire yesterday near prince albert... apparently a power pole fell and the lines ignited the trees...

saw north central''s machine on the news bucketing to protect a nearby home...

any other of you guys coming to the prairies??

Don''t get me all wound up. Spent sveral weeks in Dorintosh (sp?) and the LDI area last year, was treated very well. Would love to go back.

Dont be teasing.
While I'm here. I know there is alot of guys/girls out there that have some great
stories, weather they are funny or scary what ever you have.
I have started a collection of stories since 1995. Iam planning on putting them all together one day which would hopefully be for some good reading.Your own accounts what ever they maybe. Everyone has a story worth telling.
Anything would be great.

Hey CM aka Firehawk,

One thing that I wish that I had gotten a chance to do more of was "firefighting" but unfortunately (well not really cause I loved it) management thought I had a driller mentality.......shut up CTD and Icefloe before you start.......anyway, in the few fires I did have the fun of flying on I have one story that I would say is somewhat (stupidily) funny.........the other ten guys on the fire that day near pee''d there pants........whilst I in my "ultimate wisdom" (huge rolling eyes icon missing) was the reason for a few beers and laughs that night....
