People seem to think the doctor is turning people away and violating the Hippocratic oath. Seems like a stretch to me, he isn't denying anyone, but of course the loons on the left are trying desperately to paint that picture.

What NOBODY is addressing is what will happen in Four Years when this turd hits the bowl, If I'm a Doctor aged 66 and I'm facing the wholesale change in business model I'm going to look around and say "I'm 70 and I love what I do, but I'm not doing it for free, I'm closing my practice and heading for the off ramp." The question then becomes not the specifics of the So called Health Care Plan, but the basic economics and demographics of being a Doctor.

What happens if enough retire and we have a Doctor Shortage??? I'll tell you! What we have is defacto rationing based upon the fact that it no longer justifies the investment to become a MD versus the return.

The new Health Care plan will ultimately collapse under its own weight just as the Soviet Union did under the weight of its failed economic policies. The only question remaining is how long will the collapse take given the current levels of nearly unsustainable debt?
