Well today is the 23rd, the day the FA Electronic Trade Board was supposed to start up. Is it still planned to go live after RSV lines are posted this morning? Havnt heard a thing.

ETB is up and running. Those who have Norton Internet Security and/or Anti-Virus need to disable it while working on the ETB, it seems to cause problems and FLICA is working on discovering the problem.

You need to disable pop up controls too. After all that, it looks great. Now everybody, just start posting those drops/pickups/trades etc.

Yeah the ETB is up and running, but it's so painfully slow half the time you can't even use it. And why does it take so long for approval for your requests? I posted several requests yesterday to pick up trips and still haven't heard anything. How are we to plan anything if it takes this long?

I was told by one of the scheduling supervisors that the flight attendants can see who is trying to pick up the trip. It is supposed to be first come first serve, but they are denying flight attendants those trips. I would assume to give it to more senior people since most senior flight attendants don't agree with the first come first serve. They will play games until the reserves get so pi$$ed that they will be stuck with their frigin trips. Take this as a warning senior mamas the reserves are already getting pi$$ed and it is only day 4 of the board. There is a big meeting today regarding some of these issues with the company and the union. We will see what happens.

Ok.. I have been trying for the last 2 hours to log onto Flica.net to try and bid some extra flying for May. The site is so damm slow! I cant get past the welcome page! LOL Cant anything be done to work on that?

That will change ASAP. There are some quirks in the system. Many f/as are attempting to pick up trips they are not legal for and jammin the system. It will iron out once everyone knows what is permissable.
