Wow this is getting confusing and tense...... so ops and Gar, how is the manning going this holiday weekend?

Ask all the line holders who are getting reassigned.

Is it really that bad? My crew and I came in at 10am yesterday after one leg home and we were certain someone would nab us, but we managed to escape the axe.

Depends on if I have something open that matches up with what you have. We are reassigning but when you look at the number of people flying verses the amount of open time. Maybe 10% get reassigned on any given day and I feel that is probably on the high side. Now if you look at the staffing levels of any trans con or Intl wide body, you will probably find quite a few open positions. So fewer people are working harder because their colleagues do not feel it necessary to come in an do their job. It's nothing new. Happens every holiday.
