It looks like there is a "conflict of Interest" within the Party of Lincoln

(I am Very Thankful that my political party has wisely chosen NOT to be "conflicted" on this issue) !!

I think this should be seen as a signal. The evangelical right no longer has a tight grip on "their" party. Hopefully this means that we are going back to the party that reigned in the early 80's.

I've been keenly aware of the Log cabin Republicans for some time.....and I will agree that the Con's tip toe around with this moral dilemma,if you will;within their own ranks.It is a big pill to swallow for the Christian Right.....how far they will let this issue grow and become acknowledged within their ranks is beyond me.Personally,I see it staying about where it is.
Bear...it was an issue during 'W's first election......they made noise then about supporting Bush but wanted some recognition I think.
Maybe its like the brother or sister you don't discuss at family gatherings?

Yes "Dude your correct.

Meaning, if any person was a true....registered Independent voter, I'd Imagine that, that person could definitely see that "the" Issue was a reason to reject the republican vote, and vote Democratic, and in the 08' election, the GOP is going to need EVERY possible vote, to have a chance at winning.

The Christain Right(aka Moral Majority) has an openly Gay faction in their voting block which to the Moral Majority constitutes a

Moral Dilemma. 😱

The "moral Majority' was the organization founded my Jerry Fallwell. I was not aware that the Log Cabin republicans had anything to do with Jerry given how much he hated gays.

I understand that they consider it a moral dilemma what I am asking is why do they consider it a dilemma. Is it because they want to win (need the votes) more than they want to stand by their convictions of hating gays?
