Considering that they're narrower than the coach seats on the 737s, and have tighter pitch than FC...

NO, they are not FC seats.

Did I mention the lack of free alcohol? 😉

Your flying on to many flights with the free alcohol, that's why your getting an a$$ to big to fit in the seat. Get use to it more and more airlines are using the ®eplacement (J)ets. 😀

Gordo's way overrated! With hubs in Houston and NYC, plus sweethart labor agreements that gave him very low costs AND a roaring economy, how could CO NOT make money? It doesn't surprise me at all that he's leaving now that the easy money is gone!

As soon as CO is done with Gordo, please give him his walking papers. We at US think he's done an outstanding job; and we're anxiously awaiting our opportunity to let him try out his expertise over here!!!

While he was able to make the company stable again, I feel he missed some opportunies to grow and strengthen a company that relies too much on the regional jet. I would say that he did a good job overall because he stabilized a bad situation. I think that he also has made them vulnerable in the future to predatory moves by the LCCs. I think they are a larger version of US without as many problems. Once the LCCs turn their energy towards IAH and EWR, they will struggle to fight back because of the excessive RJS in their inventory.

I think he a geneious, any one who can keep an airlne out of BK and financially viable in a enviroment like this deserves deserves kudos. He should be given a huge $10 plus million golden parachute.

Hell, I'll give him the sun and the moon; I just want him to come to US.

I think he is a great CEO but is very much a pessimist. Every time he speaks about the industry it's always gloom and doom!!

Well Gordon is known around here as a straight talker. He doesn't beat around the bush or say it in a nice way. He will even use all four letter words to get his point across, even if he is in a meeting or a company function. Just ask anyone of us who have been to his CEO exchanges. If the outlook is doom and gloom..he will say it. Its kinda nice, especially in a industry full of management who loves smoke and mirrors.

Well, the outlook is definitely gloom and doom here at USeless Airways. So, I think we'd be a perfect fit. I, for one, would love to see what USAirways could become with ole Gordo in the drivers seat!!!

Gordo has the best record of any airline CEO the last 10 years. He took CAL from EWR to HKG, and IAH & EWR to NRT with a chariot of Gordo's vision, the 777. The fleet is in hreat shape with all the new 737's. Gordo's only unfullfilled goal is taking CAl to LHR with their own metal. Cal's arrangement with Virgin is great but is a second best solution. I can only hope the next CEO is half as good as Gordo, let give the man his do.

I do think Gordon did a very good job on his own, but a great job with Greg. They saved Continental from death. They stepped in and stopped CalLite and pulled some unprofitable routes and got contracts that saved the company. They renewed the fleet, for the most part. Still a couple of MD80s running around I believe. CO has stepped up its International presence in a big way and has made a very good impression on the consumer. For my trips to Hawai'i, I only will go CO. CO has pulled down their Denver hub to nothing and still remained capable of getting people from the East Coast to the West Coast. I give him a B+

I forgot to say say that Gordon certainly went out with a BANG and not a whimper. 10 B7e7s and 8 more 757-300s, plus the early leasing of more 737-800s. The is certainly good news to all at CO. Good Luck to the new Captain of Continental.

No doubt Gordon did a lot of great thing when he got here. However his last few actions before he bailed with 50 M left a bad tast in many of our mouths.Asking the employees to give up money is ine thing but when the top 16 upper mgmt people get all kinds of stock bonuses etc while tellinus were headed to the poor house insults our intelligenceGordon and company rode the great economic wave of the late 90's with all the other airlines and they continually pay themselves handosomely for this. When they try to tell us they're taking paycuts of 25% they forget to tell us they receved 30% raises before said cuts were announced. And dont think we're not aware of the bonuses paid out to many many execs.Gordon looks loke the bad guy when he announces the requested wage reductions as he's leaving so my rating of him goes from a B plus to C minus.

Actually it less than 14 Mil if you read the SEC filing. A lot of money, but no where near 50 Mil. Basically though its like a food chain. The ones at the bottom are always complaining about what the person above them got. The cleaners complain about the Rampers who complain about the FA's who look what the pilots got........well you get the idea. I think Gordo did a great job, spend that money in fun and don't look back, you earned it.
