From what I read about the case the trial seemed like a formality. That guy will probably not survive prison. Good riddence.

How many more clinics like his are just waiting to be discovered?...

And how can any self-respecting politician (yes, I know that's a stretch) be able to justify late term abortions after having all this testimony in the public record?...

he deserves to get it in as cruel a way as possible

The need for a later term abortion should be up to the physician and the mother, no one else. What Gosnell was doing has nothing to do with medicine or abortions.

Not aware of any politicians who support what Gosnell was doing. I know there are politicians who support the right of a doctor and mother to do what they feel is medically necessary.

Duh.........

He then turned to Obama’s record on abortion — something Mitt Romney’s campaign hasn’t spent much time attacking — and pointed out that Obama as a state legislator voted against banning late-term abortion.
“The radical on abortion is Obama, who as a state senator voted three times in favor of allowing doctors to kill babies in the eighth and ninth month who were born, having survived late-term abortion,” Gingrich said, “and the Democratic Party platform, which says you should pay with your tax money for late-term abortion.”

The crowdfunding effort to fund a movie about Louis Gosnell is now less than $90,000 short of their $2.1M goal, with four days left to go in the fundraising effort.

If you were as horrified by the testimony in the Gosnell trial or are as opposed to late-term/partial-birth abortions, please consider giving $25 or more today. $25 will get you a copy of the movie on DVD when it is released, and will help bring the Gosnell story to millions who didn't find out about it thanks to the mainstream media's blackout.

Why on earth would I want to fund some silly movie about a doctor who commited malpractice and murder?  Just so that the anti abortion crown and trot this movie out to support their argument and ignore all the doctors and clinincs that have performed nearly 1 million safe and effective abortions each year?

I'll pass.  I sent in my monthly donation to Planned Paranthood like I always do on the 1st of the month.

Margaret Sanger would be proud of your commitment.

Sanger is dead and no one cares (except republicans).  Planned Parenthood has nothing to do with Sangers policies or beliefs.  They provide womens health to anyone who walks through their doors.

While you were busy dancing on dead babies, almost $5000 in donations were made in the last 25 minutes.

I wondered what that squishy sound was.  Give me a sec, I need to get a mop.  Too bad I can't donate to a republican pregnancy preventative program.

Planned Parenthood gets about $70k an hour.  What else you got?

I'm fine with them getting $70K an hour in donations. That should eliminate any need for taxpayer funding of any sort, and yet, they got $540M last year, which was about 45% of their funding.

This movie has been getting $100K in donations each day over the past week, and will cost about 5% of what Planned Parenthood spent last year on lobbying alone.

The grants help in providing all the services that PP provides such as PAP smears, breast exams, STD testing just to mention a few of PP's services.  The abortions only make about 3% of the services provided.

Whats the name of the GOP/Conservative equivalent to PP (less the abortion thing)?  I'll be happy to send them a donation right now.
