Haven't all Airbus 320 series getting new coat of repaint done?

All Airbus 333 and Boeing 733, 734, 752 and 762ER jets repainted are done but why didn’t all Airbus 320 series getting new coat of re-paint done final quarter of 2008? Slow down or postponed?

Airbus 320 East (8 left) 67 of 75 completed including with West
113, 114, 117, 119, 121, 122, 123, 124

Airbus 319 East (20 left) 73 of 93 completed including with West
725, 730, 732, 737, 738, 741, 753, 754, 756, 758, 760, 762, 763, 764, 765, 766, 767, 768, 769, 770


12 B752 are now ETOPS and winglets filled
200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 941, 942 (East with Envoy class) Transatlantic services only
908, 909, 910 (West doesn’t have Envoy but First class) Hawaii services only

936 thru 940 probably will get ETOPS and winglets in 2009?
927, 929, 932, 933, 934 will be move to FedEX property in 2009
915 thru 925 probably will be retire anytime soon....

6 B752 are now ETOPS only
901, 902, 903, 904, 905, 906 (West)

My guess would be that they aren't going to remain in the fleet much longer. I know that it was posted here about some going back this year. I always wondered why they didn't do more of the 321's...

At one of the confrence calls last summer they said, the remainig where pushed back becuase of the cost of fuel. Seem to think that the paint line starts up early 2009..

I read somewhere I think on About US about a month ago the company had temporarily stopped repainting aircraft due to the economic situiation and it would resume sometime in 2009.

A couple of notes and corrections. 733 A/C 527 flew it's last flight on Dec 29th, it was the only remaining 737 in the old scheme.

There is one 757. A/C 932 still in the old scheme, is was not repainted as is scheduled for lease return at somepoint that it did not make sense to repaint it.

There are actually 3 A-321's in the new colors not counting the new deliveries, you can add 169 to your list.

You can also add 753 and 758 to your 319 list, they where some of the last aicraft repainted before it stopped.

Perhaps they should re-start the paint line with A/C 765. That's the one with the noticable patch right below the Captain's sliding window....LOL.

Are all the A333s in the new paint scheme finally? I know one (N276AY, I think) was still in the old colors as of a few weeks ago.

276 was repainted in either Oct or Nov, it was the last aircraft in the fleet to be painted before it was temporarily stopped.

Ironically it still looked great in the old scheme, the Airbus factory paint seems to hold up really well, as the below photos from Oct 8, 2008 show.
