Hegeman says the two to three year transition will be uncomfortable and ugly for workers wondering if they’ll keep their jobs.

Hegeman, uncomfortable, and ugly. Three words that belong together. Let's just hope she never teams up with the Motley Fool guys, we would have to park our airplanes for good.

We can't overlook her biased opinions, especially with her love link to SWA.

Sheh hs been more wrong than right of any airline analyst or insider over the last 12 years!

I'm a better pilot than I am accountant, but I'm beginning to think I could have a bright future in the financial sector as an aviation analyst. People actually pay these idiots for advice?

And this comes as a surprise because....???

It is going to be a rough ride for employees and restructuring will have no mercy. Early retirements are coming. Lay-offs and furloughs are coming. Sure they will try to cut management, but expect the tree to be shaken.

In the end, you may actually give all the competition a run for the money 🙂

I said it many times that I missed that calling. Much like a weatherman, you are never really wrong 🙂

It's funny how we all come together when outsiders trash our turf. Not that I don't agree, BTW.

"Holly"wood vs. "Bolly" wood.

All looks the same to me.

There is a $40,000 buyout on the table if the US Airways f/a vote in their new T/A. If not enough folks take this OUT, then furloughs will be in order...in a major way.

Funny, a CEO who holds two DUI's, can't merge a regiional carrier after 7 years... will become the CEO of the largest airline in the world. Shows you how the world's ethics, trust and faith in the faithless has changed in personally and in business.

This reminds me...

The creditors at AA would have to be bottom basement desparate to buy into the US Airways present package deal.

IF YOU CAN'T GET YOUR OWN LABOR ON BOARD TO SUPPORT A MERGR, MINUS THE THREATS OF THE 'DOOMS DAY SCENERIO' AD NAUSEUM YOU DISH OUT TO THEM....

AT THE END OF THE DAY, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TRULY CONVINCE THE DOJ, AA LABOR AND USAIRWAYS LABOR ALONG WITH THE PUBLIC AT LARGE, POTENTIAL STOCK INVESTORS (OTHER THAN DAY TRADERS) WITH ANY CREDIBILITY THAT YOU ARE FINALLY SERIOUS TO RUN AN AIRLINE, SPECIFICALLY HAVING, WHAT, LIKE A DECADE WITH OVER 2 BILLION IN COST SAVINGS, PENSION DUMPING, TWO BK, BASE CLOSURES, TENS OF THOUSANDS OF FURLOUGHS, INCOMPLETE MERGER, ETC, ETC, ETC, TO COMPETE, FOR PETE SAKES', ALREADY!!!! This management is ALWAYS in "desparate mode"!!!!!

Good thing you've used spicy language, it's going to make a big difference when you're eating those words.
