If we get enough votes Kyle any chance of making it happen?, of course should either of the two gentlemen in question object to this nomination i will gladly remove them from the poll. Good to hear HV, I don't think it would be required that you not refresh yourself while monitoring, this I think would only be more genuine, as for Eaton does it count if I have spent time at Zellers of Sarnia... 😛

Bleedvalve -------you are allowed your opinions and that's your Right as long as you don't step over certain "lines". When you use the term "uneducated" you are using it in a demeaning way and it then turns your opinion into a personal attack on not only those that read your text, but also perhaps on their Moms, Dads or grandparents that maybe never had the opportunities you may have had. May I therefore ask in what particular discipline you received your higher education?

thanks for the vote of confidence, however, a while back I approached Kyle halfheartedly about it and he didn't bite very much. I think my previous suspension might have been a key element.

To be a good moderator, you need to be on here alot. Or at least have alot of moderators on here to fill the gaps. We have 5 listed in addition to Kyle and I only see RDM on occasion, Kyle has all but dissappeared. Where are the other 4???

I can tell you, the lines were crossed along time ago, and the strings should have been cut early. I know it doesn't help ratings and such, but once you're burnt the first time, you're careful of the fire the next time around.

Moderators can't be perfect either, but should at least be fair in their judgments. Maybe everyone with a eye for doing the right thing should bombard Kyle with requests to be moderators, maybe the change will be good.

Please read carefully what we are asking for.
You used to do such a great job of moderating here. Guys were allowed to go only so far before you blew the whistle and told them to back-off.
We only suspected you were absent because you hadn't been moderating around here lately,
(and boy-oh-boy, this place needed it).
Also you said yourself that you had been overseas and away from this site.

I don't mean to tell you how to moderate.......you are damn good at it.
It is because of this, and because you have the title that we hoped you or Kyle would step in.

If you wish to go back to just being a member, that's your choice, but if you really are here, and do have the title, please return to blowing the whistle occasionally.

If you need a deputy or two, that's great, but please stay on as a Moderator to restore this website's professionalism and fun.
If you didn't have the job already, you and your attitude would certainly get a nomination in this present vote !!

Sorry Lads..........rarely do I loose my cool on here but had a nasty day and was running on 2 1/2 minute power for the last 3 days, and when I read Mags post the second engine calved.

Do we need another moderator or two, by all means. I shall talk to the Chief about it in the next day or two.

Having said that, I beleive several poster on here need to be "taken out back of the woodshed".

She is a small industry boys (believe me, first hand knowledge) i have in earlier years not only burned bridge's but blew the f**king things up, and when you are trying to get back across the river in december she is a pretty cold swim. I agree that we should speak our minds, but be careful how it is spoken, this site is viewed on a daily basis by more eyes then most know. Does that mean we have to walk on our tipppy toes, no, certianly not. But slander can and will not be tolerated.

What does Kyle think of this whole thing? Actually, where is Kyle??? Knock, Knock, Kyle.....are you there?

After my forced vacation, I had read and re-read the rules, mainly to wonder why I lost my priveleges for a while, and found that the rules aren't hard to follow if you keep your cool and use your brain before you type. I think a few people should revisit the rules for a refresher.

But what happens when a moderator breaks the rules, which moderator gets to take him out to the woodshed? 😀

If anyone wishes me to be a moderator, you'll need to bring on Blackmac as well, so we can delete each others posts, and nobody has to suffer through our arguments.
