and this?

Welcome to the new reality!

What new reality? One of corporate oppression? Nope, that's not new. One of failed promises and half measures all in the name "bipartisanship?" Nope, already got that... So what's gonna happen after tomorrow?

The massive red wave will wash away the liberal elitist scum for starters.

Elitist scum?

And replace that alleged 'scum' with what? Obnoxious blowhards? Tea Partiers? Glenn Beck's chalk board?

Oy...

Absolutely positively yes. I would always choose Conservatism over Marxism any day of the week. And apparently so does the majority of Americans as to be witnessed by tomorrows electoral bloodbath.

It's a pendulum. In 1994 The GOP took the House and Senate. In 2006 they got punted out. In 2010, they will probably get the House back and may be the Senate. In 2012, who knows what will happen. In one or two more elections the people will realize that the republicans who they voted in to fix the mess that the dems made in 80's/90's are the same reps that they kicked out in 2006 for making making a mess. Then they will kick the reps out again and give the dems a chance to screw it up again after the republicans have screwed it up for another 2 or 4 years.

Do you see a pattern. The people who think the republicans who will be voted in tomorrow will do a good job running this country are as stupid as the people who voted in the current crop of crooks thinking that they would fix all the problems.

In 2012? Obama will be history. That you can guarantee.

Meet your new 2012 president!

Love it, you know its bad when "Tingles" lost his "Tingle".

Why does Boehner hate America???!!! I'm sure that all of you right wing conservanuts noticed that he once again refused to wear an American Flag lapel pin! Of course, you remember that you declared it a sign of disloyalty when President Obama dared to appear in public without a US flag pin. Clearly, this means that Boehner - the crying wuss - hates America. Fox news will be all over this one....just wait. Fair and balanced, after all.

It's just like everything else. If your guy has what you want it's good, if the next guy does not have it then it's not important. Kerry was in the service, Bush/Cheney were not so service was not important. Clinton was not in the service but Bush Sr was so it was important.

Nothing has changed between Nov 2 and Nov 3 other than the actors names have changed and the special interests have changed.

The biggest concern I have is for the minorities in this country who will have to wit for the next wave of discontent to gain equal rights in this nation. The pendulum will swing back with in the next 10 years. Gotta love politics in the US.

None of the stuff being talked about in this thread has any substance nor does it give justice to those who won. Why do people fall in love with political parties? Why is it some "rah-rah" BS that continues to drive this nation into the ground because its all a popularity contest crap?

I am perfectly happy with the balance of power now. Maybe a little more to the right, fiscally, and I'd be perfectly content.

- I 100% support the GOP on the economy
- I 100% support the Dems on Social ideas (seperation of church and state, Gay marriage, abortion, etc.)

I believe Government has no say in moral values such as spanking children who homosexual marriage, etc.

Democrats have the senate majority and presidency
Republicans have the house majority

Would you rather it be all Republican or all democrat (We seen how that played out!)

Now, to more selfish things 😀 North Carolina went blue for the house!!!

Our 2012 competition went Red 🙂 And Charlotte/NC has more electoral votes than St. Louis/MO (our biggest competitor)

Lets go Queen City!
