Did I miss it or is Palin not on that list? Not familiar with most of them but too put Gingrich on the list is almost as bad as having Palin on there. He is good at what he does which is get the core riled up and raising money. I think he would have a far better chance against Obama than Palin but I am pretty sure the christian right would not be able to stomach him. If they do, they would be called to the mat and #### slapped. They would have no moral high ground any more. I'll bet pennies to dollars his name will not be on any ballot.

Back to Pawlenty again if I may, Mn. is in a long drawn out re-count for governor, which will enable Pawlenty to stay on a bit longer...AND pass anti same sex marriage legislation just as he "goes out the door"

He also keeps his Bible thumping low key, unlike Palin/Huckleberry etc,......Though if asked will be very vocal !
Another guy to pay close attention to is SD. Sen. Thune, who has the better "looks" , though Governors usually get the nod over Sen's in a close primary

I probably wouldn't vote for her, but you have to admit that only Brand Clinton is powerful enough to launch a viable campaign against O'bummer in 2010.
She has foreign policy experience, and more legislative experience than Barry does, and a lot more credibility. Plus people still love Uncle Bill.
She's 63, and already reported to be retiring from State (she supposedly wants SOD Gates to retire simultaneously, since they're the only two old people in Obama's posse/cabinet).
Maybe it's just a coincidence, but her tenth year as a federal employee will be on January 3, 2011, and I guess that means her pension is probably fully vested, not that she needs it, but.... 😉

Federal employees are vested in FERS after 5 years civilian service. Here is another link to refute all the false info out there on Congressional salary and pensions.
