How early to book flights for next july? The reason I ask is that I saw on today show that the travel experts say to book 45 days from departing?. but with the fuel airfare prices rising should I book it now?
Probably half your topics have to do with some question about when you should buy tickets. Buying as many tickets as you do (based on all these threads) should make YOU the expert on getting the low fare.
Nobody here has a crystal ball and can tell you when you'll get the best airfare. My advice is to buy it when the price is something you can live with. And then don't check it again after you buy, unless you're stupid. You'll have to pay a change fee to get a refund or credit if the fare goes down, and those change fees are generally larger than the potential drop in fare. So just buy it already.

Of course, we at the Lazy’U, appreciate your patronage but I am perplexed as why you would consider buying a ticket on ‘any’ carrier 1 year in advance, in such a dynamic environment.
I do believe you are a spoiled 12 year old with 'mommies' credit card.
