A flight attendant has flown into the book of Guinness World Records after spending more than 60 years in the air.

Ron Akana, 83, worked his last route at the weekend on a United Airlines flight from Denver to Kauai.

Yes indeed, and now he can line-up with all the other standbys for boarding. Many of which have made such great contributions and sacrifice over the span of their careers. Mr. Akana will soon learn that new hires will trump his place in line as fairness prevails in this once great airline! It's REALLY pathetic...

Well, I won't live long enough to surpass his record of the longest serving f/a, but I've only got 18.5 years to go to become the oldest working f/a. Wait, what am I thinking? The AA senior f/as will still be around (short of death on the job).
