Huge Capacity Expansion Into Florida

And the airline consultants/economists claim the legacy carriers already have to much capacity. Who is contributing to this over-capacity?

The problem isn't too many seats, it's too many seats being sold at a loss. JetBlue will price their seats at a rate that will provide them a profit thus making the "old school" carrier's unsold -- or sold-at-a-loss seats the true "over capacity."

Checking flights from FLL to the 3 NYC airports today, conclusion: CAL get more then Song or JetBlue. There is a Continental Newark premuim. CAL is the only airline offering multiple flight daily from Newark to Florida. Now it won't have the market all to itself.

You may remember that Dave Barger ran EWR for CO before becoming Pres and COO of B6. So maybe he knows what he's doing.
