Hugo Chavez, a hero for the puss-n-boots

Well "gents", ol' Hugo warrents "close scrutiny", that's a given, ...But.. I wonder,... how much of Hugo's rhetoric, "tone's down" once the Chimp is out of office ?

Yea perhaps your right.

Ooooh Looook....A tropical storm is forming and could be the first hurricane of what researchers have predicted to be an above average season.

Ya know... its all 'W's fault and it will settle down once Billary takes charge.

What does Bush have to do with Hugo shutting down TV stations taht he views as a threat? Do you honestly believe that when GWB leaves office he will open them back up?

Chavez has enough opposition to keep him tied up.He has the upper hand at the moment...if he starts acting like a dictator, maybe then he will go the way of the Edsel.
As for Bush....it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he(Chavez)extended an olive branch to a new Dem administration. In fact it also surprises me Big Nance and her traveling circus haven't stopped on down to have a cold one with Hugo. After all,Bashar al-Assad (on our Merde list was fair game..)why not Hugo?

Besides, what do we have to worry about in this hemisphere?
