Not for nothing, but I always thought it was strange that stock clerks weren't "related" to AMTS. I would have switched them with custodians/aircraft cleaners...




Was it really a year? It seemed like it went quicker than that....

Whats up Kev...Yeah I too think stock clerks were more in line as far as class and craft to the mechanics than cleaners. But they did not consult me so who knows.. LOL. I am glad that atleast in MEM the ramp guys still had a pretty good relationship with us even when we broke off from the iam. I heard some horror stories like the bypass pin being removed after a mechanic set up his gate during the iam/amfa fight. I am glad I never saw that happen...I would have had that dude fired. No doubt about it. I am now having a pizza at my buddy's pizza place. He is and Lead ESE and has this as a side business. I wish I had done that. He is doing quite well. He can almost retire from NWA so he is in a good position and his wife is a CSA. They are both sick of NWA and are ready to get out. I actually am glad I am out..I make more money but have less vacation. I guess you can't have everything. You take care Kev..Your a good guy. It reminds me how many good people I worked with and how I miss them...
 
Don't forget to ask the IAM about how well they protected the TWA employees during the American Airlines acquisition.
