STL- I don't know about the flight schedules but I live near the airport and we were fine. Just a little ice on the car. Not like last year when I lost 2 HUGE white pines, part of my roof, and no power for five days. I understand MCI got clobbered.

<_< ------ Some power outages, all flights out of here yesterday cancelled, but they should get back to normal today. How you doing Ok City? Tulsa?

We had to fly around it on our way to SFO from JFK, that with strong headwinds, caused us to have to stop and refuel in SLC! Total time block to block was approximately 9 hours! Passengers were great! (Then again I have never had a truly bad pax!)
ORD was closed on Sunday, caused us to have an ATC hold, so block to block LGA to ORD was 5 hours!
I felt bad for the crew trackers Monday night! The gentleman I spoke with was extremely nice also! Seemed like an older fellow by his voice on the phone, 767 desk, does anyone know who he may be? (would like to send some Christmas cheer his way!)

Tulsa base remains open. APU Center and Composite Center lost power, those employees were offered work at the base if wanted.

AA Credit Union Computers been have down for sometime now. Customers are unable to access money through ATM's and Local Branches do NOT keep cash on hand. This is very disturbing and leaving folks without cash and Check Cards will not work at Local Areas Merchants. Basically leaving AA employees without money or commerce capabilities. Over 250,000 have been without electricity for days. The trees in Tulsa and surronding communities look as if a war has taken place. Poles that hold powerlines are down.

The ice has melted due to rain and higher temps and Power Company Workers have come from several states to help restore power. Many faimlies and living in shelters.

Tulsa Airport ran out of de-icing fluid and airport was shutdown.

Yea and to add insult to injury we're a few short months from super cell thunderstorms!

That is fudged up no access to cash. I would go fudging crazy. They ran out of deicing fluid? Where is management when you need them? Oh lets guess making there pockets fatter or firing people for fourteen bags. 😛

Last week I flew PHL-SFO on UA and flying time was 7 1/2 hours. Flight back was just over 4 hours. I thought for sure with the flight to SFO we'd need a fuel stop but didn't.

We had a "Currier and Ives" event here, in NH yesterday. 8 inches of bone dry/fluffy/crunch under your feet while walking, snow.
The tall pine trees, and OLD rock walls are covered in picture perfect WHITE !!

Next event,........a good ol' fashioned NOR EASTA, in about 36 hours from now !!

To see MOTHER EARTH, snuggled under that protective healthy "white blanket", makes my ol' heart HAPPY

....Says the man that no longer has to work in it...

We've had 22" so far this month, and that's more than enough for me.

P.S. I hope you're feeling better!

Our turn tomorrow...although I went to the grocery store and that sometimes keeps the snow away. My kids laugh because I act as if I'm NEVER going to be able to "get out" again.
